Michele Bordo è l’attuale presidente del Co.re.rom della Puglia. Nasce a Manfredonia, in provincia di Foggia. Laureato in Giurisprudenza comincia a fare politica molto presto: a 16 anni diviene componente della segreteria del partito di Manfredonia; a 19 anni è il consigliere comunale più suffragato e più giovane della sua città. Nel 1996 è eletto segretario del PDS di Manfredonia, nel 1999 segretario provinciale dei DS della Capitanata. Dal 2003 al 2007 è Segretario Regionale dei Democratici di Sinistra della Puglia. Dal 2005 al 2006 è Assessore alla Pubblica Istruzione, Sicurezza, Polizia Municipale e Sanità nella Giunta Campo del Comune di Manfredonia. Nel 2006, 2008 e nel 2013 è eletto deputato dell’Ulivo e del PD per la regione Puglia. In Parlamento è stato componente della V Commissione Bilancio, della I Affari Costituzionali e della Bicamerale Antimafia.

Michele Bordo is the current president of Co.re.rom in Puglia. He was born in Manfredonia, in the province of Foggia, and he graduated in law. He began his political career at a very early age: at 16, he became a member of the Manfredonia party secretariat; at 19, he was the most voted and youngest city councilor in his city. In 1996, he was elected secretary of the PDS in Manfredonia, and in 1999, provincial secretary of the DS in Capitanata. From 2003 to 2007, he was regional secretary of the Democrats of the Left in Puglia. From 2005 to 2006, he was councilor for education, security, municipal police, and health in the Campo Council of the Municipality of Manfredonia. In 2006, 2008, and 2013, he was elected deputy of the Ulivo and PD for the Puglia region. In Parliament, he was a member of the V Budget Committee, the I Constitutional Affairs Committee, and the Bicameral Anti-Mafia Committee.
