Amalia Diurni
Amalia Diurni è Professoressa ordinaria di Diritto privato comparato presso l’Università di Roma “Tor Vergata”, Dipartimento di Management e Diritto, Facoltà di Economia, dove insegna anche Sistemi giuridici comparati e Uniform Private Law. Tiene corsi di Diritto della migrazione e dell’accoglienza in prospettiva comparata e coordina il modulo giuridico del progetto “CAP: Cittadinanza Attiva e Paritaria”. È Coordinatrice del Dottorato in Teoria dei contratti, dei servizi e dei mercati, membro della Giunta della Scuola di Dottorato e del Gruppo di Coordinamento per il Bilancio di Genere. Ha svolto attività di ricerca e insegnamento in numerose università europee, tra cui Paris Panthéon-Assas, Oxford, Regensburg, Vienna, Innsbruck, Fribourg e USEK (Libano). Laureata con lode alla Sapienza di Roma, ha conseguito il titolo di Doktor der Rechte con summa cum laude all’Università di Regensburg. È avvocata iscritta all’Albo speciale dell’Ordine di Roma, già ricercatrice e docente in diversi atenei italiani e stranieri (Urbino, Pisa, LUISS, Regensburg, Parigi Panthéon-Assas, Vienna). Ha ricevuto borse DAAD e Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung. Partecipa a progetti nazionali e internazionali, tra cui il PRIN 2020 “La vulnerabilità digitale nel diritto privato europeo”, e dirige il progetto “Instabilità del diritto e vulnerabilità digitale” presso l’Istituto italiano di studi germanici. È membro di numerose associazioni scientifiche e comitati editoriali e parla correntemente inglese, francese e tedesco. Autrice di monografie e articoli in più lingue su diritto comparato, contratti, famiglia, responsabilità civile, garanzie finanziarie, diritto digitale e medico.
Amalia Diurni is Full Professor of Comparative Private Law at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Department of Management and Law, Faculty of Economics, where she also teaches Comparative Legal Systems and Uniform Private Law. She teaches courses on migration and reception law from a comparative perspective and coordinates the legal module of the CAP: Active and Equal Citizenship project. She is Coordinator of the Doctorate in Contract, Service, and Market Theory, a member of the Doctoral School Council, and a member of the Gender Balance Coordination Group. She has conducted research and taught at numerous European universities, including Paris Panthéon-Assas, Oxford, Regensburg, Vienna, Innsbruck, Fribourg, and USEK (Lebanon). She graduated with honors from La Sapienza University in Rome and obtained her Doktor der Rechte degree with summa cum laude from the University of Regensburg. She is a lawyer registered with the Special Register of the Bar Association of Rome and a former researcher and lecturer at various Italian and foreign universities (Urbino, Pisa, LUISS, Regensburg, Paris Panthéon-Assas, Vienna). She has received DAAD and Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung scholarships. She participates in national and international projects, including PRIN 2020 “Digital Vulnerability in European Private Law,” and directs the project “Legal Instability and Digital Vulnerability” at the Italian Institute of Germanic Studies. She is a member of numerous scientific associations and editorial committees and is fluent in English, French, and German. She is the author of monographs and articles in several languages on comparative law, contracts, family law, civil liability, financial guarantees, digital law, and medical law.
